Welcome to the website for the Duke Raleigh Department of Pharmacy. Our department serves the needs of the patients and employees at Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Hospital. Duke Raleigh is a 204-bed acute care community hospital located in Raleigh, NC which provides comprehensive services to the growing surrounding Wake County area. These services include cancer care, neuroscience and stroke care, orthopedics, surgery, and emergency medicine.

Duke Raleigh is a part of the Duke University Health System, which includes Duke University Hospital, as well as affiliations with other hospitals in the region, community based primary care practices, home care, infusion services and hospice care. The Duke University Health System is one component of the integrated Duke Health entity which includes Duke University Schools of Medicine and Nursing and Duke Global Health Institute.

DUHS Pharmacy is strongly dedicated to advancing the practice of pharmacy and training pharmacy learners. Duke Raleigh, Duke University Hospital, and Duke Regional Hospital all support pharmacy residency programs for a total of 12 PGY1 and 14 PGY2 residency positions with integration of resident resources including system-level pharmacy research committee, availability of elective rotations at each site, and eligibility for early commitment to any DUHS PGY2 residency program. Duke Regional Hospital - Duke Regional Hospital is a 388-bed acute care hospital serving the health care needs of Durham, Orange, and surrounding counties for more than 35 years. Duke Regional Hospital provides inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and emergency care and features a level II special care nursery, Duke Inpatient Behavioral Health, Duke Rehabilitation Institute, Hock Family Pavilion, and the Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center.

Duke University Hospital - A tertiary and quaternary care facility, Duke University Hospital is a 1,048-bed academic medical center that offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including a Level 1 regional emergency/trauma center, an extensive complement of major surgery suites, a comprehensive cancer center, an Eye Center, the Duke Heart Center, and the Children's Health Center.
